Full Outer Join in SQL

The FULL OUTER JOIN returns the result of the combination of left and right outer joins.

Syntax:

 SELECT columnList FROM table1 FULL OUTER JOIN table2 ON table1.columnName = table2.columnName;

Example:

SELECT P_ID, NAME, AMOUNT
 
FROM PERSONS
 
FULL OUTER JOIN ORDERS
 
ON PERSONS.P_ID = ORDERS.PERSON_ID;

Output:

P_ID	NAME	AMOUNT
1	jai	-
2	sandy	30000
2	sandy	22000
3	deepak	23000
3	deepak	25000
4	Ashish	-
